LG takes the "white" out of the wash

Who says washing machines have to be white? This front-loading steam washer from LG Electronics comes in a sleek black finish. It's a 7.5-kilo machine with a four-star water and energy rating. The washer has a steam function designed to reach high temperatures for the breakdown of enzymes in laundry powder. The unit also features LG's Intelligent Washing System, which detects the load size, appropriate water temperature, imbalances and excessive suds during operation. RRP: $1,874
