Whirlpool’s new “affordable” 4.5 star washers
Posted on: Monday, 29 September 2008
Whirlpool’s new front-loaders save more than 3000 litres of water compared to previous models.

Looking for more energy savings in the laundry? Whirlpool Australia has released two new front-loading washing machines that are claimed to be the “most affordable” 4.5 star washers on the market. The new front-loaders - the WFS1273BW and WFS1071BW - save more than 3000 litres a year compared to their predecessors and are priced so they won’t “break the budget”. Both machines are 7.5 kg capacity and feature a 30-minute quick wash setting, 1200 rpm extra high spin cycle and LED display. RRP: WFS1071BW $799, WFS1273BW $899.
