For those who want to get serious about photography, a D-SLR may be right for you. Take Sony’s latest the Alpha 350- it features Quick Auto Focus (AF) Live View technology‚ which provides live image previews with through-the-lens (TTL) phase-detection autofocusing. There is also a 14.2-megapixel CCD image sensor and in-built Super SteadyShot image-stabilisation system, so now you don’t need a steady hand for perfect pictures. View it all on the 2.7-inch variable-angle LCD screen. RRP: $1‚399
