Designed for serious mobility, they are the only water and shock-resistant external drives available today from a global hard drive manufacturer, and can take more falls, knocks and spills than an average external drive. SimpleTOUGH includes a “never-lose” foldaway USB cable and LED for power status. Internally the drive is dependable and integrates Hitachi’s Travelstar hard drives. It provide solid shock protection at 400G (operating) and 1,000G (non-operating), and features TrueTrack Technology, providing added data protection against rough handling.
