ConnectedWomen bubble after Bublé

Carrie Lakin and Jack O’Connor before the show.
Kath and Tristan Beacroft were all smiles at the concert.
Ana Vrinat and Simon Papilos both love listening to Michael.

Ana Vrinat, Kath Beacroft and Carrie Lakin* were the second lot of winners for the first ConnectedWomen Showtime event, an evening with Michael Bublé at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.

Our three winners and their partners Simon Papilos, Tristan Beacroft and Jack O’Connor were hosted at the concert on Sunday June 22, by ConnectedWomen CEO Claire Moffat and Editorial Assistant Dannielle Ryan.

Michael and his big band put on a fantastic show, with professional showmanship and lots of fun and witty banter for the audience to enjoy.

“I really liked Michael’s complete showmanship, full of energy and fun!” ConnectedWomen subscriber Carrie Lakin said. “My most memorable moment of the night was his performance of “Feelin’ Good”, which is my favourite song that he sings. Michael and the band delivered that song so so well!” Carrie added.

Even though it was a arena style show Michael aimed for it to be as intimate as possible, bringing the audience together with a huge YMCA and even jumping into the crowd once to greet some adoring fans in the front rows- unfortunately we weren’t that close!

But no matter where you were in the room, Michael’s charismatic nature captivated and his smooth voice carried sweetly to every ear with ease.

“I just wanted to say thank you again for a wonderful evening yesterday at the Michael Bublé concert. Simon and I had a fantastic time, everything we were expecting and more,” she said.

*Our first winner Hayley Paul was unable to attend the concert so Carrie took her place.

I love the James Bond movie franchise, from Sean Connery to Daniel Craig, it is almost a rite of passage through adventure, style, romance and of course technology. Somehow in the world of James Bond we can delight in the crazy gadgets, which as our Plugged in story above relates, seem to eventually become reality. ... Read More

In our Plugged In feature this week, I have focused of the performance of the well-known Breville brand. Perhaps a better verb is “aliveness”. There’s nothing like a global recession to take the shine off a shopping expedition. I know it has for me and I won’t be alone.
