What is it? It's an LCD television which uses a technology called LED Smartlighting. Samsung, who have released the first mass market LED TV in Australia, says it produces bright, vibrant colours and premium picture quality.
Why would I want one? To experience arguably the most stunning picture ever seen on a television. It also uses significantly less energy than traditional LCDs.
How does it work? Smartlighting intelligently turns on or off LEDs as required, by analysing the input signal.
How much does it cost? Expect to pay around $5,499 for 46 inches and around $6,999 for 55 inches. |
