What is it? An unlimited music download service offered by Vodafone.

How does it work? MusicStation is a subscription service available to Vodafone customers with certain compatible handsets (including the Nokia N95 8GB, LG Viewty and Sony Ericson C902) which have the Vodafone live! Icon on the bottom right corner of the phone’s home-screen.

Vodafone said new handsets are made compatible every week.

Those who have a compatible handset can download MusicStation from Vodafone live! Or send a blank txt to 197 SONGS (197 76647) to receive the direct link to apply for the download. MusicStation is already pre-loaded in certain handsets and can be found in the Applications folder.

Why would I want one? You can download as many songs as want to your mobile for a weekly fee of $2.75. Users have access to over 1 million tracks and will be able to create playlists and share them with other subscribers.

MusicStation also features dynamic track storage so users never run out of memory.

How much does it cost? $2.75 per week, however users will only be able to listen to the music while their subscription is current.
