Record and watch your favourite free-to-air TV shows when you want with TiVo.

What is it? A digital video recorder (TiVo DVR) that records free-to-air shows and enables you to watch them whenever you want.

How does it work? TiVo keeps track of the latest TV schedule through a broadband connection and automatically records every episode of your selected shows, even if the day or time they air changes.

All you need to do is find the show you want by searching or browsing the electronic program guide seven days in advance and select the shows you want to watch or record. TiVo then digitally records the show(s) to its hard drive.

Why would I want one? If you’ve access to only one TV, you may have to decide between Dancing with the Stars or 60 Minutes on Sunday night. However, not only can TiVo record two shows at once, you can control live or recorded shows (with pause, rewind, fast-forward, instant play and slow motion) – which means you can skip commercials and head straight to the program.

You can also protect your kids by managing what they are allowed to watch and access all free-to-air channels including High Definition channels such as 7HD, 9HD and 10HD.
